Public Notices

Town Board: Ancram Town Councilwoman Madeleine Israel will participate at the 2011 year-end Ancram Town Board meeting and the 2012 Organizational Meeting held on January 5, 2012 at 6 pm (EST), the January 19, and February 16, 2012 regular Town Board Meeting held at 7 pm (EST), via Skype. In Ancram the Town Board will meet at 1416 CR 7, Ancram, NY 12503. Councilwoman Israel will participate via Skype from 8 Odessa Court, Redwood City, CA 94063.

Town Board: The following Amendment to the Zoning Ordinance of the Town of Ancram, New York was adopted by the Ancram Town Board on July 21, 2011:
The “Zoning Ordinance of the Town of Ancram, New York,” is hereby amended by changing the number designation of old Section IX entitled “Amendments” and substituting a new number designation so that, as amended, the Section will have the following number designation and title: Section X “Amendments.”

In that same section, now renumbered, old Section IX, Sub-Section F entitled “Publication and Posting” shall be deleted in its entirety and substituting in lieu thereof the following new Sub-Section F entitled “Publication and Posting”:
F. Publication and Posting
Every Amendment to the Zoning Ordinance, including any map incorporated therein, adopted in accordance with the Town Law shall be entered in the minutes of the Town Board; a copy, summary or abstract of the amendment, exclusive of any map incorporated therein, shall be published once in the official newspaper of the Town; and
a copy of such amendment together with a copy of any map incorporated therein, shall be posted on the Town’s official website and in the Office of the Town Clerk. Affidavits of the publication and posting thereof shall be filed with the Town Clerk.

Town Board: The Town Board of the Town of Ancram does hereby give notice that the Regular Town Board meetings will now be held on the Third Thursday of every month. Any changes will be published prior to the meeting.
