Comprehensive Plan: The Town of Ancram is looking for volunteers to work with the Comprehensive Planning Committee on our Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) project.
The CDBG project will focus on hamlet revitalization, economic development and affordable housing.
The CDBG Project Team will meet once a month, starting late in July. The work should be done by the end of 2008.
The CDBG Project Team will work with the Town's consultants and the Comp Plan Committee to insure a broad base of opinions and perspectives are represented, and residents of Ancram, Ancramdale and Boston Corners are able to participate in the effort.

Town Board: The Town Board of the Town of Ancram does hereby give notice that the Regular Town Board meetings will now be held on the Third Thursday of every month. Any changes will be published prior to the meeting.

History
The name was derived from the Livingston homestead in Anchoram, Scotland. Robert Livingston, first Lord of the Manor was the son of a Scotch clergyman, born in Anchoram, Scotland in 1654. read more →
